– On Monday Lucy released a new song “Cover Up” as a free download on Soundcloud and it’s nearly reached 30,000 plays in 3 days. The song has also been played on BBC 6Music by Lauren Laverne, Steve Lamacq and Chris Hawkins this week, and on XFM by John Kennedy.

– Lucy revealed that her second album probably won’t be released until early 2015 :(

– Lucy will play British Summer Time festival in London Hyde Park on 12th July – the bill includes Neil Young, The National, Tom Odell and Half Moon Run. More info

Counting Crows have recruited Lucy to support them again on tour in the UK in November 2014. You can find out more on the official LR site

Steve Lamacq’s Roundtable today (26th June) featured “Cover Up” as one of the tunes reviewed. Josie Long and Anna Calvi both scored it 7/10, whilst Alexis from Hot Chip gave it 6/10. You can listen again to the podcast here (skip to 6m40, and the discussion starts from 9m35)

– “Shiver” has been used as the theme song this season for Japanese anime Mushishi and Sony Japan released the song on 11th June via iTunes JP (Japan-only I think)
