On Monday 4th June Zane Lowe had the world debut radio play of ‘Lines‘ on his BBC Radio 1 show. He also awarded the track “Hottest Record In The World” in his regular feature. The track was played twice and Zane talked to Lucy on the phone about the new album.
Lucy revealed her debut album would be called Like I Used To – taking the lyrics from her songs ‘Shiver‘ and ‘Gamble‘. The album is expected to be released in September (Monday 24th?) and will be via Columbia Records UK (who Lucy signed with last month). The record was produced and mixed by Charlie Hugall.

Meanwhile, Lucy Rose’s team have set up an official VEVO page on YouTube for Lucy – and the first video they’ve uploaded is the song ‘Lines’ (although no actual video yet, just a static photo). The video is expected to be released any day so keep your eyes peeled :)
