I’ve noticed quite a few foreign visitors (hi there!) stopping by searching for “Lucy Rose letras” and “Lucy Rose paroles” etc. Please note these lyrics aren’t official – purely guesswork at this stage. I hope that when Lucy releases her album in September the lyrics will be in the liner notes.

It’s pretty cool though to look on Google Translate though to see what the word for “lyrics” is in other languages (and explains a lot of the random search terms I’m seeing on my WordPress stats page). It’s also surprising how many languages just use ‘lyrics':

The word “Lyrics” translated into other languages:

Arabic: كلمات
Armenian: բառերը
Belarusian: лірыка
Bengali: গানের কথা
Bulgarian: текстове на песни
Catalan: lletres de cançons
Chinese (simplified): 歌词
Chinese (traditional): 歌詞
Czech: text
Dutch: tekst
Filipino: letra
French: paroles
Galician: letra
Georgian: სიმღერები
German: Text
Greek: στίχοι
Gujarati: ગીતો
Hebrew: מילים
Hindi: गीत
Hungarian: dalszöveg
Indonesian: lirik
Italian: Testo della canzone
Japanese: 歌詞
Kannada: ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ
Korean: 가사
Lithuanian: tekstai
Macedonian: коментари за оваа песна
Maltese: lirika
Persian: اشعار
Polish: teksty
Portugese: letra
Romanian: versuri
Russian: лирика
Serbian: текст
Slovak: text
Spanish: letras de canciones
Swedish: texter
Tamil: பாடல்
Telugu: సాహిత్యం
Thai: เนื้อเพลง
Turkish: şarkı Sözleri
Ukrainian: лірика
Urdu: دھن
Vietnamese: lời bài hát
Yiddish: ליריקס

also:
songtekst (not sure what language that is – Dutch maybe)

the most common seem to be letra / letraa and tekst and paroles (also lyris, lirycs but they’re probably just English mis-spellings)

If anyone can maybe help with translations or translating the lyrics in to other languages that would be cool :) get in touch
